A Joyful Heart Shines Bright

I don't know about you but I'm not a big fan of Monday mornings, going to school, waking up early, and getting back in routine for the week. Not my favorite.

But the other day I woke up a little earlier in the morning to do my God time, instead of having it at night, and I felt so full of God. And so happy and joyful ALL day. It was the best Monday I've had in a long time. :)

God gave me the joy I needed to rock Mondays! Now I look forward to waking up earlier than usual and having my God time everyday. :) Try it, and watch God rock YOUR Mondays too!

Operation Beauty

I recently heard of a project called Operation Beauty. This idea is so unique! I love it!

What this girl started doing is putting post it notes on women's bathroom mirrors and other places that said sayings like, "You are beautiful!", and "God made you beautiful and special!"

I love this act of encouragement! It definitely inspired me to do random acts of unknown kindness and encouragement! God wants us to encourage and let others know He loves them.

I know I will leave post it notes random places! Will you? :)

God makes you BEAUTIFUL! :)

My mom recently got an anniversary ring at the jewelry district in L.A. And when you walk into the building it is overwhelming how much jewelry there is. I can't imagine how my mom chose a ring. All the rings were so unique and different!

But when my mom held out her hand and showed me the ring she chose, I thought it looked beautiful because she was wearing it. :) She made the ring even more beautiful!

This is a great example of how we are. There are so many people in this world trying to figure out if they are "pretty." Just like there were so many rings. And just like when my mom put the ring on and made it beautiful, when we are in God's hand we know we are beautiful! So, we don't need to keep searching for something to make us beautiful. We can stop comparing ourselves, because God makes us unique and beautiful!! :)

God Gives You Confidence

At church summer camp this year, which was out of this world amazing, the girls had a session about confidence.

And wow, it was really eye opening! The lady speaker talked about how when we know God and have him in our life it is no longer our self confidence. It is God's confidence.

God makes us feel beautiful, we don't put our confidence in ourselves any more, we put it in God. She also said that God is like our security blanket. We need to put our confidence in God, not in clothes, money, friends, etc...

Who Inspires You?

What's beautiful to me is a happy heart full of joy! I'm inspired by people who want to praise God in all they do and say! This joy only comes from knowing God! :)

Kristin has really inspired me to care and love people as God loves people. She spent time with me before she moved, to talk and love on me when she could be packing. She has really shown me a glimpse of God's love for us.

And my life group leaders, Hannah and Chelsea, have really inspired me to be more on fire for God and live a life to glorify God! They both do EVERYTHING to glorify God from smiling at people to leading worship in our church youth group.

I really want to be more like these people by caring for people like God does. I will do this when I help in the 2 year old class at my church by showing them how much God loves them when I talk to them and teach them. I will glorify God in all I do by doing everything for God, not for men.

Who inspires you?

The Comparisson Game

People (including me) often compare themselves to someone else. The truth is,comparing yourself to someone won't help your self confidence at all, in fact it doesn't help you at all!

God loves you and he loves the person you compare yourself to. God loves you no matter what, so don't feed yourself lies....that you need what they have.

Don't compare yourself to them because God made you completely unique!And God loves you for you1 :)

God loves you, even on your bad hair days!

Joy, comes from knowing the Lord. He makes you feel beautiful, and he loves you even on your bad hair days! :)

He is your source of beauty. You don't need to search for someone to tell you that you are beautiful, because he already thinks you are amazing!

Modest is Hottest!

I heard this saying from a friend and thought it was awesome....Modest is hottest!
It was so catchy, yet so true! I think when we put on an outfit we should think,I'm wearing this for God, would He like it?

Modest doesn't mean that you have to dress like you're in the prairie days! You can dress in style and still be modest.

Don't forget, modest is hottest!!!

Cool won't last but God's love will!

Have you ever said this to yourself... I wish I looked like her or only if I was skinnier or only if I had that car! The fact is the world tells us to be cool or beautiful and that we need to have the latest clothes or new car.



But God tells us he loves us no matter what.
No matter how we look or where we live, he loves us!

Don't go by what the world says, go by what God says. That he will ALWAYS love you!
